The Cooper-Atkins ColdStik™ is a refrigerator and freezer food product simulator designed to measure food temperature rather than just the surrounding air temperature. It contains a proprietary silicone-based gel that responds to temperature changes similarly to refrigerated and frozen food, providing an accurate indication of actual product temperature. The ColdStik helps support food safety programs by monitoring product conditions, reducing the risk of spoilage, shrinkage, and product loss. It has a temperature range of -40° to 100°F (-40° to 40°C), making it suitable for a wide range of refrigerated and frozen food applications.
